The two worst teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference collide on the Hill this Saturday afternoon in the 2025 regular-season finale.

Syracuse football, following its historic setback at No. 9 Notre Dame last weekend, has lost seven straight. Boston College, meanwhile, won its 2025 season opener, and since then, the Eagles have fallen in 10 consecutive encounters. Brutal.

The 'Cuse needs to defeat the Eagles to ensure that the Orange doesn't finish in last place in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings during the 2025 campaign.

Syracuse football vs. Boston College odds, spread and total

When I wrote this article, FanDuel had the 'Cuse as a 3.5-point betting underdog at home against the Eagles, with the over/under set at 52.5 points. It's pretty incredible that Boston College, which has yet to prevail in a conference game, is a betting favorite on the road against the Orange.

Syracuse football vs. Boston College prediction and pick

In their all-time series together, according to SU Athletics, the Orange is 34-24 against Boston College. The Eagles, though, have won two straight games in this series, including a 37-31 home triumph during the 2024 term, when Syracuse football would end up at 10-3 overall.

Freshman Joseph Filardi is expected to start at quarterback again for the Orange versus Boston College. He struggled last Saturday at Notre Dame. Then again, the entire 'Cuse quarterback room has proven woeful since redshirt junior Steve Angeli, a transfer from the Fighting Irish, suffered a season-ending injury when Syracuse football won at Clemson in September.

Quarterback play has been a huge disappointment during the Orange's seven-game setback streak, although other areas of the 'Cuse program have played poorly during that time, too. I want to thank all the seniors for their efforts in 2025 and over their entire Syracuse football careers.

Let's end this stanza on a high note. Despite the Orange being a betting underdog, I'll roll with the 'Cuse to knock off Boston College at the Dome, 27-24.
