Hakim Satterwhite, a four-star defensive back in the 2026 class, will officially visit Syracuse football in a few weeks and has also set his commitment announcement date, per his bio on the 247Sports Web site.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Satterwhite, who suits up for a powerhouse program in Baltimore, will go on an official visit to the Orange during the weekend that begins on May 30. According to 247Sports, he also plans to officially visit West Virginia, Miami and Maryland.
Satterwhite, a top-500 national prospect in his cycle, plans to make his future collegiate destination known on July 9, per 247Sports. At this juncture, I'm not seeing any analyst predictions for him on the 247Sports Web site, Rivals.com or the On3 Web site.
In the upcoming 2025 season, as a senior, Satterwhite will compete for the Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, which a stanza ago went 8-3 overall and was ranked in the top 10 around the country by MaxPreps.
Syracuse football is a significant contender for 2026 four-star cornerback Hakim Satterwhite.
In early February, Satterwhite unveiled a top 10 that included the 'Cuse, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, Miami, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Notre Dame, Missouri and West Virginia. He holds roughly 30 offers and received a scholarship offer from the Orange coaching staff in December of 2023, not long after Fran Brown took over as head coach of the Syracuse football squad.
According to his X page and recruiting Web sites, Satterwhite unofficially visited the Hill in April of 2024. And in a couple of weeks, Orange coaches will get the opportunity to wow Satterwhite on his official visit to Central New York.
Syracuse football currently has 16 verbal pledges in its 2026 class, after four-star wide receiver Amare Gough of Thomas Jefferson High School in Richmond, Va., verbally committed to the 'Cuse this past weekend.
The Orange's 2026 cycle, following that decision by Gough, moved inside the top 10 nationally, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.
In late March, three-star defensive back Zaiden McDonald of Malcolm X Shabazz High School in Newark, N.J., verbally pledged to Syracuse football as well. The 'Cuse 2026 class includes one verbal commit at this point who hails from Maryland, three-star athlete/linebacker Maurice Medley, who is Satterwhite's teammate at the Saint Frances Academy.
