Syracuse football coaches continue to make the list cuts of highly rated prospects in the 2026 class.
One of the latest examples is four-star Hakim Satterwhite, a top-400 national prospect in his cycle who will spend his senior season at a powerhouse program in Baltimore.
Via his X page the 6-foot-2, 183-pound athlete/defensive back disclosed a top 10 of the Orange, Kentucky, Michigan, Maryland, Miami, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Notre Dame, Missouri and West Virginia.

At this juncture, I'm not seeing any analyst predictions in Satterwhite's recruitment on the 247Sports Web site, Rivals.com or the On3 Web site. Either way, it's encouraging that the 'Cuse has made his top 10, although competition, undeniably, will prove intense.
Syracuse football has scored the top 10 of 2026 4-star DB Hakim Satterwhite.
In the 2024 season as a junior, Satterwhite suited up for St John's College High School in Washington, D.C. However, in a post on X from mid-January of this year, he said that he would transfer to the Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.

This past term, Saint Frances, playing an extremely challenging national schedule, went 8-3 overall, earning a No. 8 national ranking and a No. 1 rating in Maryland from MaxPreps.
Per his bio on Rivals.com, Satterwhite has landed roughly 30 offers throughout his recruiting process. According to media reports, he landed a scholarship offer from Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown and his top-flight staff in December of 2023, not long after Brown took over the Orange program.
Currently, within the 2026 class, Rivals.com places Satterwhite as four stars, No. 20 at cornerback and No. 6 in Maryland. At the time of this writing, both the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking had Satterwhite in the top 400 overall and in the top 30 at cornerback.

Over the past week or so, Syracuse football has also made the top 10 of 2026 four-star defensive back Khary Adams out of Loyola Blakefield in Towson, Md., and the top five of 2026 four-star wide receiver Davion Brown out of the Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Va.
To date, the Orange staff has at least nine verbal pledges from high school juniors. The Syracuse football 2026 class currently resides in the top 15 around the country, per multiple recruiting services.
