Syracuse football has made the top 10 of 2027 four-star tight end/athlete Colt Lumpris from New Jersey, according to social media posts.
The 6-foot-7, 235-pound Lumpris, who has visited the Hill at least two times, has a top 10 of the Orange, Florida State, Alabama, Michigan, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State and Ole Miss.
All I have to say is that even if the 'Cuse doesn't prevail for Colt, it's nice to see Syracuse football continuing to make list cuts for top-flight prospects with impressive scholarship offer lists.
Lumpris is a junior at Lawrence High School in Lawrenceville, N.J. Lawrence's first game in the 2025 season is this Friday night at the Episcopal Academy from Newtown Square, Pa. In 2024-25, Lawrence went 7-2 overall, according to MaxPreps.

Syracuse football, so far, has a top-five class in the 2027 cycle.
According to media reports and social media posts, Lumpris is eyeing game-day visits to numerous college campuses in the coming months. I haven't seen anything yet about a visit this fall to the Orange, but I'll continue to monitor this.
