In another example of just how awesome the 2024 regular season proved for Syracuse football, the program has achieved its highest number of All-ACC performers since moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference more than a decade ago.

On Tuesday, the All-ACC teams and honorable mentions were unveiled. Between the first, second and third teams, along with honorable mentions, the Orange saw 12 of its players get recognized - the most since Syracuse football joined the ACC from the Big East Conference during the 2013 season, per SU Athletics.

For a bit more context, the ACC in the current campaign also had expanded to 17 members in football with the additions of California, SMU and Stanford.

First-year head coach Fran Brown, his top-flight staff and their talented roster capped off a fabulous 2024 regular season this past Saturday on the Hill, when the Orange rallied from 21 points down to stun then-No. 6 Miami, 42-38, before a boisterous JMA Wireless Dome crowd.

That result moved the 'Cuse to 9-3 overall, 5-3 in ACC play, a tie for fourth place in the league standings, and into the top-25 polls. Soon, Syracuse football will learn what bowl game it will suit up in, as the Orange is going bowling for the third straight year.

Here are Syracuse football players named as All-ACC performers.

All-ACC First Team
Redshirt junior tight end Oronde Gadsden II

All-ACC Second Team
Senior quarterback Kyle McCord
Redshirt junior wide receiver Trebor Pena
Senior wide receiver Jackson Meeks

All-ACC Third Team
Senior cornerback Clarence Lewis

All-ACC Honorable Mentions
Junior running back LeQuint Allen Jr. (RB and all-purpose)
Senior offensive tackle Savion Washington
Redshirt senior offensive guard Jakob Bradford
Senior defensive end Fadil Diggs
Senior linebacker Justin Barron
Senior linebacker Marlowe Wax Jr.
Redshirt junior punter Jack Stonehouse

According to cuse.com, Gadsden led all tight ends in the ACC in receptions and yards. McCord, in his sole term with the Orange, has set several Syracuse football program records and is also No. 1 in the country in a couple of categories, including total passing yards, passing yards per game, and completions per contest.

Pena and Meeks are among the top wide receivers in the ACC this season in receptions and total receiving yards. Lewis, who transferred to the 'Cuse from Notre Dame, is second in the conference in pass breakups, at 11, per SU Athletics.

Allen has tallied nearly 1,400 yards between his rushes and receptions, and he leads the ACC with an impressive 17 total touchdowns.

Diggs, Barron and Wax were all bright spots for the Orange's defense, and the same can be said for Washington and Bradford on the 'Cuse offensive line.

According to the SU Athletics announcement, Stonehouse "is on pace to break the program's single-season net punting record by over a full yard per attempt."

Congrats to all of these Syracuse football players on their well-deserved honors!
