Syracuse football 2026 verbal commit Kamron Wilson has taken numerous trips to the Hill, and he will do so again this coming weekend.

Per his X page, the four-star edge from the Sunshine State will be back in Central New York to watch the Orange play non-conference foe UConn at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday, Sept. 6. Heck yeah.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Wilson, who verbally pledged to the 'Cuse in late March of this year, is a standout senior at Miami Southridge Senior High School. To date in the 2025 season, Miami Southridge is 1-0, and the Spartans will next play at Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Fla., this Thursday night.

Syracuse football will have 2026 four-star verbal pledge Kamron Wilson on campus this Saturday.

Earlier this summer, Wilson took an official visit to the Orange program, and then the following weekend, he also unofficially visited the 'Cuse. Now comes another trip to the Hill on Saturday.

Teams such as in-state Florida State and Nebraska continue to remain involved with Wilson ahead of the early national signing period this December, analysts say. However, Wilson has also maintained that he is locked in with head coach Fran Brown and Syracuse football.

Wilson's highest 2026 ranking comes from ESPN, which has him at No. 286 overall, No. 33 at defensive end and No. 43 in Florida. The industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking places Wilson at No. 398 overall, No. 44 at edge and No. 56 in the Sunshine State.

The Orange's 2026 class, at 28 members, has seven commits from Florida and is ranked No. 24 around the country, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

Several of the team's highest-ranked 2026 pledges hail from the Sunshine State, which has arguably the most talent in high school football nationwide, save for perhaps California and Texas.

Leading the way for Syracuse football in 2026 is five-star wide receiver and top-25 national prospect Calvin Russell lll of Miami Northwestern Senior High School. Russell was in attendance on Sunday night as the Miami Hurricanes defeated fellow top-10 team Notre Dame.

Other highly ranked 2026 commis for the 'Cuse who play high school ball in Florida include four-star edge Jarius Rodgers of Fleming Island High School in Fleming Island, Fla., and four-star offensive tackle Javeion Cooper of Melbourne Central Catholic in Melbourne, Fla.
