Antonio Wilcher, a 2028 three-star defensive lineman from the Sunshine State, will take a game-day visit to Syracuse football for the Orange's 2026 season opener against non-conference foe New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The 'Cuse coaching staff has pursued the 6-foot-3, 305-pound Wilcher for a while now, first offering him a scholarship in January 2025. He took an unofficial visit to the Hill this past April amid Syracuse football's spring practices, according to a post on X.
In the upcoming campaign, Wilcher will be a junior at Miami Southridge Senior High School. In recent recruiting cycles, the state of Florida has proven a heavy recruiting focus for the Orange staff, led by head coach Fran Brown and general manager Tommy Caporale.
