Four-star transfer guard Aiden Tobiason, a sophomore at American Conference member Temple, visited Syracuse men's basketball on Saturday, according to a post on X from 247Sports national analyst Dushawn London, who you should definitely follow, because he gets a lot of scoops!

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Tobiason has great size and length for a shooting guard. He hails from Wilmington, Del., and averaged more than 15 points per game this past season.

During the 2025-26 campaign, Temple went 16-16 overall. Tobiason appeared in all 32 games, averaging 35.3 minutes, 15.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while making 48.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line.

In 2024-25, he was named to the American Conference's All-freshman squad, as Tobiason averaged 4.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game while connecting on 45.9 percent from the field, 41.2 percent from beyond the arc and 76.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Syracuse basketball is building out its 2026-27 roster.

Tobiason is rated as a four-star transfer prospect by 247Sports. Within the 2024 prep class, he was a three-star player out of St. Elizabeth High School in Wilmington. As a senior, he averaged 18.8 points per game and won numerous honors, such as Delaware state player of the year, conference player of the year, and first-team All-State.

The transfer portal opened on April 7 and runs through April 21. Things are moving along for new head coach Gerry McNamara and his staff. Freshman guard Kiyan Anthony and freshman forward Sadiq White Jr. are returning.

The Orange has landed four commitments over the past week or so. Two are transfers from Siena in four-star sophomore guard Gavin Doty and junior big man Tasman Goodrick. On Saturday, word broke that the 'Cuse had picked up a pledge from four-star transfer guard Garwey Dual, a junior at McNeese State.

Syracuse basketball also has one commitment in its 2026 prep class, and he is four-star Slovenian wing Mark Morano Mahmutovic. McNamara and his assistants will continue to add guards to their 2026-27 roster, while also hunting for a starting center and additional wings/big men.
