These days, Syracuse basketball is among the schools recruiting 2026 four-star point guard Miles Sadler hard, and that's great to hear.

The 5-foot-11 Sadler, who is from Brampton, Ontario, is a fast-rising prospect in the 2026 class. For one, in its national rankings for this cycle, Rivals has Sadler No. 18 overall and No. 4 at his position.

With a strong senior season, he will likely contend for All-American and five-star status. Last fall, the Orange offered a scholarship to Sadler. Per a recent piece from top national writer Sam Lance on zagsblog.com, teams recruiting Sadler hard include the 'Cuse, Tennessee, Cal, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Stanford.

According to Lance, Sadler will go on an official visit to Tennessee in late August, and he'll apparently be in attendance when Syracuse football plays the Volunteers in Atlanta to kick off the 2025 season.

Let's see if the Syracuse basketball staff can get Sadler on the Hill for an official visit at some point.

Syracuse basketball appears to be in the mix for 2026 4-star PG Miles Sadler.

This week, Sadler is trying to win a Peach Jam title with the 17U team of the Phoenix-based Arizona Unity as the Nike EYBL circuit holds its annual season-ending tournament in North Augusta, S.C.

Sadler is playing well so far at Peach Jam, and Arizona Unity is one of the favorites to make a deep run at this event. Last weekend, amid a live period in the EYBL league, Orange head coach Adrian Autry was on hand for at least one Arizona Unity game.

In his interview with Lance, Sadler said of Syracuse basketball: "One of my old teammates Naithan George goes there right now. So definitely another potential spot I’m looking at for sure. And it’s close to home, so it’s great."

The 6-foot-3 George, a rising junior point guard from Toronto, transferred from Georgia Tech to the 'Cuse this off-season. He's one of the Atlantic Coast Conference's top point guards. In national transfer rankings via 247Sports, George is rated four stars and in the top 50 overall.

George attended Canyon International Academy in Phoenix, which is now known as CIA Bella Vista. In the 2025-26 season, Sadler will be a senior with the Bears. CIA Bella Vista, a member of the loaded Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Scholastic ("EYBL Scholastic"), was one of the country's premier programs in 2024-25, with Sadler leading the way.

By the end of the summer, Sadler says that he plans to trim his list of contenders still in contention. He told Lance that in a future college home, he's looking for the opportunity to play right away.

"I know minutes are not guaranteed anywhere, so definitely just the opportunity," Sadler said. "I don’t want to go somewhere where I’m just going to automatically sit on the bench for the first year. But opportunity to play, good development and also a good crowd too."

To his last comment there, hopefully, Sadler will take an official visit to Syracuse basketball and watch a game in the JMA Wireless Dome.
