Syracuse basketball has offered 2028 five-star center Logan Chwastyk from the Philadelphia area, he disclosed on his Instagram page.
The 6-foot-11, 215-pound Chwastyk is a standout at the Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, Pa., which is about 20 miles away from the City of Brotherly Love. On the AAU circuits this spring and summer, he is competing for the 16U squad of the Philadelphia-based Team Final in Nike's EYBL league.
Per his social media, other new scholarship offers for Chwastyk include Indiana and Notre Dame, two teams that the Orange will face in the upcoming 2026-27 season. His full offer sheet also features Rider, Penn State, Villanova, California State University, Bakersfield, and Florida State.
The contact period for 2028 players opened on June 15, enabling the Orange staff and college coaches around the country to begin initiating direct communication with rising high school juniors.
This week, the 'Cuse has also re-offered a scholarship to 2028 four-star combo guard Carter Smith out of the William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia. Smith plays alongside Chwastyk for Team Final in the 16U division.
Within the 2028 class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite places Chwastyk as five stars, No. 19 overall, No. 7 at center and No. 2 in Pennsylvania.
