Syracuse basketball coaches are in attendance watching numerous four-star and five-star recruiting targets play at an ultra-high level at a prestigious annual event.

From June 9 until June 13, this year's National Basketball Players Association ("NBPA") Top 100 camp is transpiring in Rock Hill, S.C. College coaches are permitted to be in attendance on Wednesday and Thursday.

Per his Instagram story, Orange assistant coach Brenden Straughn is on hand at this camp. On Wednesday afternoon, a source of mine said that those at the Top 100 camp include head coach Adrian Autry, Straughn and fellow assistant coach Dan Engelstad.

Love it.

So which high school prospects suiting up at the NBPA Top 100 camp are being watched by Orange coaches? I don't know definitively, but I'll discuss in this article some 2026 and 2027 recruits whom the 'Cuse staff is pursuing.

In the 2026 class, there are numerous players at this camp who hold either a scholarship offer from the Orange or interest from Syracuse basketball coaches. One is Dylan Mingo, a five-star point guard and top-five national prospect out of Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.

Mingo just picked up a scholarship offer from the 'Cuse in recent days. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Orange watches him at the NBPA Top 100 camp. Another top target of Syracuse basketball is 2026 five-star point guard and top-20 national prospect Deron Rippey Jr. out of the Blair Academy in Blairstown, N.J.

Rippey has unofficially visited the 'Cuse, and his dad recently told me that his son does expect to take an official visit to Syracuse basketball at some point this year. Two 2026 four-star guards/wings who are playing at this camp and could pick up offers from the Orange soon are Jasiah Jervis of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, N.Y., and Lucas Morillo of The Newman School in Boston.

Also, keep an eye on 2026 four-star small forward Vaughn Karvala, who has unofficially visited the 'Cuse and may take an official visit to Syracuse basketball, I've been told. He recently transferred to CIA Bella Vista in Phoenix.

Qayden Samuels, a 2026 five-star wing out of Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, Md., in the DMV, is also off to a hot start at the camp. Both Autry and Straughn have deep ties to the talent-rich Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

In the 2027 class, those prospects who are playing at the NBPA Top 100 camp and hold Syracuse basketball offers include five-star wing/forward Moussa Kamissoko of Long Island Lutheran High School, five-star forward Baba Oladotun of James Hubert Blake High School in Silver Spring, Md., and five-star power forward/center Paul Osaruyi of CIA Bella Vista.
