Syracuse basketball is a betting favorite against long-time rival Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome in the 2025-26 regular-season finale. In this Atlantic Coast Conference clash, on senior day, at least one main rotational player for the Orange won't be available.
Currently, FanDuel has the 'Cuse (15-15 overall, 6-11 in ACC) as a 6.5-point betting favorite over the Panthers, with the over/under set at 141.5 points. The teams will tip off at 4:30 pm EST, with television coverage on The CW Network. In January, SU beat Pitt (11-19 overall, 4-13 in ACC) on the road by 11 points.
Regarding Syracuse freshman guard Kiyan Anthony being out against Pitt on Saturday at the Dome in the regular-season finale, I'm told Anthony is unavailable due to a lower-body injury stemming from SU's 15-point loss at Louisville this past Tuesday. Sending Kiyan positive vibes.

According to injury reports submitted to the ACC, freshman shooting guard Kiyan Anthony is out for the Orange. Anthony, whose birthday is on Saturday, is dealing with a lower-body injury that he suffered when Syracuse basketball lost at Louisville by 15 points last Tuesday, a team spokesperson told me via e-mail.
Fellow freshman Sadiq White Jr., a forward, is listed as questionable for today's encounter. White suffered a shoulder injury against the Cardinals on the road.

For the Panthers, three players are out. They are graduate student center Dishon Jackson, sophomore guard Brandin Cummings and redshirt sophomore forward Papa Amadou Kante, a former Orange recruiting target. Cummings is Pittsburgh's second-leading scorer, at 12.5 points per game, although he's already missed 11 contests in 2025-26.

Even though Syracuse basketball is without the services of Anthony, and possibly even White, the Orange should be able to knock off the Panthers, a group that is among the worst in the ACC this term. Hopefully, the Dome crowd will be rocking to support the team's seniors, and the 'Cuse can end a disappointing regular season on a positive note before heading to Charlotte, N.C., next week for the ACC Tournament.
