Syracuse basketball five-star targets are headed to a Baltimore showcase this Saturday.

From an Orange recruiting standpoint, the headliner on Saturday is All-American Jordan Smith Jr., a 2026 five-star shooting guard at St. Paul VI who has the 'Cuse in his top six and has unofficially visited Syracuse basketball twice.

Earlier this month, Orange assistant coach Brenden Straughn was on hand for Smith and St. Paul VI at the annual Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass. At the Very Melo Classic, St. Paul will play Melo's former school, Oak Hill.

David Johnson, a 2029 five-star wing, is a freshman at Oak Hill and received a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball in late August of last year.

Over at Long Island Lutheran, 2027 five-star wing/small forward Moussa Kamissoko landed an offer from the 'Cuse in late December of 2024. Kamissoko is a top-five national prospect in his class. Syracuse basketball freshman shooting guard Kiyan Anthony suited up alongside Kamissoko last season as a senior at Long Island Lutheran.

In late September of last year, 2028 four-star power forward Nash Avery of Archbishop Spalding disclosed a scholarship offer from Syracuse basketball coaches via his X page. Avery is a consensus top-50 national prospect in the 2028 cycle, with ESPN placing him at No. 19 around the country.
