Despite only being a sophomore in high school, Syracuse football 2026 target and All-American quarterback Brady Hart is already amassing quite the offer sheet.

The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Hart, who won a state championship in Florida during the 2023 season while putting up some massive numbers, received a scholarship offer from the Orange staff in late April.

In total, he has around 20 scholarship offers. Per his X page, some of Hart's more recent ones have arrived from schools including LSU, Michigan, Texas A&M, East Carolina and Georgia State.

Undeniably, as his recruiting process likely still has a way to go, Hart should see numerous other big-time offers head in his direction.

If the 'Cuse hopes to prevail in his recruitment, it will have to overcome immense competition, although I'd never count out head coach Fran Brown and his assistants, who of late have shown that they're recruiting the Sunshine State hard in the 2025 and 2026 cycles.

Recently, analysts have dished on possible top contenders for Syracuse football QB target Brady Hart.

Hart is a standout at Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Fla. As the team's signal-caller in the most recent 2023 stanza, he led the Tigers to a 14-1 overall record and won the Florida High School Athletic Association ("FHSAA") Class 2S state title.

At the end of the last term, MaxPreps ranked Cocoa at No. 17 around the country, and Hart's sophomore campaign was ridiculous. According to MaxPreps, he completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 3,759 yards, with 41 touchdowns against just 11 interceptions.

Hart, in late December of last year, was named to the MaxPreps 2023 sophomore All-America second team, and deservingly so.

To date, Hart's full offer list also includes schools such as Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Iowa State, Miami, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, UCF, USF and Virginia Tech, among others.

When I wrote this article, the Fighting Irish was significantly in the lead for him, per On3's recruiting prediction machine.

In a recent article, Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney said that Notre Dame "could be the team to beat" for Hart, but he's got many other suitors involved, including LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Michigan, Texas A&M and others.

Needless to say, if the Orange hopes to have any realistic shot with Hart, 'Cuse coaches will have to get him on the Hill for a visit at some point.

Within the 2026 cycle, virtually all of the main recruiting services place him in the top 150 nationally and in the top 10 at quarterback. Currently, Rivals.com is the most bullish on Hart, ranking him at No. 49 overall, No. 4 at quarterback and No. 9 in Florida.

Brown and his staff have made the Sunshine State a recruiting focus in the 2025 and 2026 cycles. The 'Cuse is in the mix for a bunch of three-star and four-star prospects in those classes, with some of these players taking upcoming official visits to the Orange.

What's more, two of the team's three verbal commits to date in the 2026 cycle hail from Florida, and they are four-star athlete/defensive back Demetres Samuel Jr. of Heritage High School in Palm Bay, Fla., and five-star linebacker/edge Izayia Williams of Tavares High School in Tavares, Fla.

Currently, the Syracuse football 2025 class is rated in the top 10 nationally, while the Orange's 2026 cycle is in the top five around the country.
