Four-star athlete/wide receiver Jeff Exinor Jr., one of the top prospects from Maryland in the 2025 class, plans to officially visit Syracuse football in the late spring, according to a recruiting service and a national analyst.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Exinor, an All-Metro performer during the most recent 2023 season, will go on an official visit to the Orange on June 14.

That’s according to his bio on the 247Sports Web site. Rivals.com national analyst Adam Friedman recently had a subscriber-exclusive piece on Exinor, so I won’t be sharing the details out of respect for Friedman.

However, his article did confirm the June 14 official visit for Exinor to the ‘Cuse. This is highly encouraging news, as Exinor is a highly sought-after player in the junior cycle and a top-250 national prospect in this class.

Four-star Jeff Exinor Jr. will officially visit Syracuse football in mid-June.

Exinor is a standout at the McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Md. In addition to shining at wide receiver, I’ve seen him also listed as playing edge on recruiting Web sites.

According to MaxPreps, in 2023, Exinor caught 76 passes for 926 yards and 11 touchdowns. Last season, the Baltimore Sun named him to its All-Metro first team on offense.

He holds around 20 scholarship offers from a range of high-major programs, including Michigan State, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Southern California, Virginia Tech and West Virginia, among others.

The new ‘Cuse coaching staff, led by head coach and ace recruiter Fran Brown, re-offered a scholarship to Exinor on December 12, 2023, according to his X page.

In January of this year, Exinor went on an unofficial visit to the Hill during one of the Orange’s junior days. Following that visit, he said in interviews that he was high on the Syracuse football program and the new coaching staff.

As I noted in another recent column, Penn State is receiving some analyst buzz for Exinor. When I wrote this story, there were at least four predictions in Penn State’s direction for Exinor on Rivals.com, while the Nittany Lions were also in the lead for him per the On3 recruiting prediction machine.

At the time of this writing, ESPN rated Exinor at No. 158 overall, No. 12 at athlete and No. 5 in Maryland within the 2025 class. Via 247Sports, he was No. 211 nationally, No. 8 at athlete and No. 5 in Maryland.

The industry-generated 247Sports Composite placed Exinor at No. 239 nationwide, No. 6 at athlete and No. 6 in Maryland. Meanwhile, the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking rated him at No. 257 around the country, No. 34 at wide receiver and No. 5 in Maryland.
