Gabe Daniels, a 2025 three-star wide receiver who hails from Georgia, has unveiled a top three that includes Syracuse football, he disclosed in a post via his X page.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Daniels says his top three consist of the Orange, fellow Atlantic Coast Conference school N.C. State, and Kansas out of the Big 12 Conference.
Throughout his recruiting process, Daniels has landed around 20 scholarship offers. He said on March 8 of this year that he had received a scholarship offer from the 'Cuse coaching staff.
Daniels is a standout at the Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, Ga. It should be noted that Syracuse football head coach and ace recruiter Fran Brown, before joining the Orange, was most recently the defensive backs coach at Southeastern Conference powerhouse Georgia.
According to a post on X, as a junior during the 2023 season for Greater Atlanta Christian, Daniels tallied 31 receptions, 700 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns.
Syracuse football is a significant contender for 2025 three-star wide receiver Gabe Daniels.
Daniels, who also runs track, is described by experts as possessing elite speed and boasting impressive footwork.
According to his bio on the 247Sports Web site, Daniels is planning to officially visit N.C. State during the weekend of June 14 and then take an official visit to Kansas during the weekend of June 21.
I'm told that Daniels is a prospect to monitor for potentially taking an upcoming official visit to the 'Cuse as well. Stay tuned on that.
Beyond his three finalists, according to recruiting Web sites, Daniels' full offer sheet has included schools such as Appalachian State, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Liberty, Memphis, Navy, USF, Wake Forest, UConn and Western Michigan, among others.
When I wrote this article on Wednesday night, the Syracuse football 2025 class included at least 19 verbal commitments and was ranked in the top 10 nationally by the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and Rivals.com.
This 'Cuse cycle does feature several other verbal pledges at the wide-receiver position, such as three-star Darien Williams of the Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse, three-star Terrell Wilfong of West Orange High School in West Orange, N.J., three-star wide receiver/cornerback Julian McFadden of La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, Pa., and wide receiver/tight end Daunte Bacheyie of the Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse.
In late April, 2025 four-star wide receiver Carl Jenkins Jr. out of St. Augustine High School in St. Augustine, Fla., named a top six of Syracuse football, Illinois, UCF, USF, fellow ACC squad Louisville and Mississippi State.
