On Tuesday evening, Syracuse basketball 2024 commit Elijah Moore played his final game of high school, and he certainly went out in style.

The four-star shooting guard, according to statistics provided by my friend Zach Smart, who is one of the top writers covering high school hoops and recruiting in New York state, notched 67 points on 13-of-19 shooting from beyond the arc.

That's. Insane.

The 6-foot-5 Moore, who is officially signed with the Orange, helped guide the Our Saviour Lutheran School in the Bronx, N.Y., to a 133-86 victory over the Compass Basketball Academy from Bridgewater, N.J.

Syracuse basketball 2024 commit Elijah Moore finished his senior year in style.

A top-60 national prospect and a top-10 shooting guard in the 2024 cycle according to several recruiting services, Moore has put forth a strong 2023-24 season for Our Saviour Lutheran, which is part of the Atlanta-based professional league Overtime Elite, where it operates as JellyFam.

Moore, who chose the 'Cuse over other finalists Alabama, Arkansas, Miami and Oklahoma State, produced a ton of impressive performances in 2023-24, in both Overtime Elite contests as well as against other opponents outside of that professional league.

Recently, JellyFam was knocked out of the Overtime Elite playoffs, but Moore was tremendous. In the playoffs, he averaged 20.5 points per game while hitting on 40.0 percent from deep.

During the Overtime Elite regular season, Moore was a top-10 scorer in this league while facing top-flight competition. In the regular season, he averaged 16.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per affair, while connecting on 42.2 percent from the field, 34.0 percent from long range and 78.8 percent from the charity stripe.

As I've said over and over again, to me, Moore is vastly underrated in the senior cycle on a national scale. Besides his stellar production in 2023-24, a stanza ago, as a junior at Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, he was named to the New York state Catholic High School Athletic Association “AA” All-League first team.

Last spring and summer in grassroots hoops, while starring for the Bronx-based Wiz Kids in the Adidas 3SSB league, Moore averaged 19.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game, and he connected on 46.3 percent from beyond the arc, according to The Circuit, which named him its offensive MVP on the 3SSB circuit.

While national analysts and scouts have long praised Moore for his shooting ability and scoring prowess, experts have also more recently detailed how the Syracuse basketball signee has enhanced his all-around game, scoring in the mid-range and around the rim, while also displaying strong defensive instincts, court vision and overall athleticism.

Look, on senior night, Our Saviour Lutheran played an outmatched foe. But 67 points is 67 points. Orange Nation, myself included, can't wait to see Elijah Moore don a 'Cuse uniform next season. He's the goods.
