The Syracuse basketball non-conference docket during the upcoming 2024-25 season is complete, and the Orange will kick off this campaign against a program just a few miles away.
SU Athletics announced on Wednesday that the 'Cuse will welcome nearby Le Moyne to the JMA Wireless Dome on Monday, Nov. 4, in the 2024-25 season opener for Syracuse basketball.
This, from my perspective, is an awesome way to commence the next term. Le Moyne is a member of the Northeast Conference and moved to Division I a season ago, when the Dolphins sported a 15-17 overall mark and went 9-7 in league play.
In their all-time series together, during regular seasons, the Orange is 6-0 versus Le Moyne. The most recent affair occurred in December of 2008, when Syracuse basketball prevailed, 85-51.
Based on official press releases from SU Athletics and other media reports, we now know all 11 of the Orange's non-conference contests in 2024-25.
