Get your popcorn ready, Syracuse basketball recruiting enthusiasts.

This weekend in the Big Apple, Orange commit Elijah Moore along with 'Cuse priority targets Kiyan Anthony and Tyler Jackson are planning to suit up at an AAU tournament.

According to posts on Instagram and X, the AAU program Rod Wave Elite, which is led by Cam Wilder, will be conducting a tournament on June 1 and June 2 in New York City.

Among the high school prospects who will be playing for Rod Wave Elite this coming weekend in NYC are Kiyan Anthony, Elijah Moore and Tyler Jackson. Fun stuff.

A Syracuse basketball commit and two key recruits are descending on New York City this weekend.

The 6-foot-5 Moore, a four-star shooting guard, is officially signed with the 'Cuse in its 2024 class. He is rated as a top-60 national prospect and a top-10 shooting guard in the senior cycle, per several recruiting services.

Moore, as a senior in the 2023-24 campaign, was excellent for the Our Saviour Lutheran School in the Bronx, N.Y., which is part of the Atlanta-based professional league Overtime Elite, operating there as JellyFam. In mid-March, on Our Saviour Lutheran's senior night, he tallied a ridiculous 67 points.

The 6-foot-5 Anthony, a four-star shooting guard from New York City, is a long-time priority recruit for Syracuse basketball in its 2025 class. The Orange staff offered him in November of 2022, and he took an official visit to the Hill last October.

A top-10 shooting guard in his cycle, Anthony is rated as high as No. 29 nationally by On3. He has said that he wants to visit the 'Cuse again, along with several other suitors, in the coming months.

At this juncture, multiple predictions have arrived for Syracuse basketball as it pertains to Anthony on recruiting Web sites. As a junior in 2023-24, he was a key reserve for the top-five national program Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y.

This spring, Anthony has proven a top performer on the AAU circuit while playing for the 17U squad of the Baltimore-based Team Melo in Nike’s EYBL league.

One of Anthony's teammates in EYBL sessions this spring has been the 6-foot-3 Jackson, a four-star point guard in the 2025 class who is rated in the top-35 nationally by several recruiting services. Both Anthony and Jackson, by the way, earned high praise from experts for their play last weekend during an EYBL stop in Kansas City, Mo.

Offered by the Orange in late April of 2023, Jackson took an official visit to Syracuse basketball in late January of this year. He played in Overtime Elite as a junior in 2023-24, and his City Reapers squad won that league's title this past season.

Like Anthony, Jackson appears to be a priority target for the 'Cuse staff in the 2025 cycle. Anthony and Jackson, who is from Baltimore, are good friends. Jackson recently said that he talks to the Syracuse basketball coaching staff "every day."

Additionally, not too long ago, Anthony said in an interview with Charlie Parent on zagsblog.com that he and Moore talk "all the time."
