By Neil Adler
London Jemison, a four-star small forward from Connecticut, took an official visit to Syracuse basketball at the end of December, and he said in a recent interview that his trip to the Hill went well.
The 6-foot-8 Jemison is a fast-rising prospect in the 2025 class who picked up a scholarship offer from the Orange in late September and continues to see his offer sheet grow.
Recruiting service On3 recently updated its top 150 for this cycle, and Jemison went from unranked and vaulted into the top 100 nationwide.
Jemison, who is from Bloomfield, Conn., is a standout at the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., an excellent program that is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (“NEPSAC”).
Four-star small forward London Jemison has a high interest in Syracuse basketball.
On3, in its 2025 national rankings refresh, placed Jemison at No. 93 overall, No. 19 at power forward and No. 2 in Connecticut.
ESPN and Rivals.com both rate him as four stars. ESPN puts Jemison as the No. 17 power forward, while Rivals.com ranks him at No. 102 nationwide.
At the time of this writing, the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking had Jemison at No. 93 overall, No. 18 at power forward and No. 3 in Connecticut.
Jemison announced in early May that he would reclassify from the 2024 cycle to the 2025 class. Besides the ‘Cuse, his offer list includes schools such as Notre Dame, Villanova, Xavier, Providence, Virginia, Temple, George Mason, Boston University, Rice, Saint Joseph’s, Rhode Island, Yale, Fairfield, UMass and Brown.
While on his recent official visit to the Orange, Jemison was in attendance as Syracuse basketball notched a home win over Atlantic Coast Conference rival Pittsburgh.
In a recent interview with SyracuseOnSI publisher Mike McAllister, Jemison said in part, “Syracuse is definitely high on my list. It was a really good visit. Coach G-Mac (Gerry McNamara) and coach Red (Adrian Autry) and all the staff, they really made me feel like it’s a good place that could take me to the next level. I would just say it was a good experience.”
According to McAllister’s piece, Jemison is eyeing more potential visits, likely in the spring, with suitors in the mix including Notre Dame, Xavier, Virginia and Providence.
