Syracuse basketball four-star and five-star recruiting targets were in Kansas City, Kan., and Kansas City, Mo., last weekend as Nike's EYBL circuit held its third spring session through Memorial Day.
The scouting experts at The Circuit, on Wednesday, published their list of the top performers in Kansas City, and it includes numerous Orange recruits. These 'Cuse targets are in the 2026 class, and they either hold formal scholarship offers from the Orange or have garnered some level of interest from the Syracuse basketball coaching staff.
The EYBL league, by the way, will conduct its annual season-ending tournament, known as the Peach Jam, this July in North Augusta, S.C.

Following the Kansas City session, both Team Takeover and Renaissance Hoops sported 10-1 overall records this spring, while the PSA Cardinals have a 7-4 record. They are among the best teams in the 17U division ahead of Peach Jam.
Team Takeover is often one of the top EYBL programs around the country. Both Syracuse basketball head coach Adrian Autry and assistant coach Brenden Straughn previously served as assistants with Team Takeover.
In July of 2023, Orange rising sophomore power forward Donnie Freeman scored a 17U Peach Jam championship with Team Takeover. Smith and Samuels have a great shot at doing the same for the D.C.-based squad this July.
