Heck yeah. A huge congrats and welcome from Orange Nation to Ryan! He had been committed to Siena, but after McNamara moved from leading the Saints to leading Syracuse men's basketball, Moesch was granted a release from his signing with Siena.

In late March, word came out that McNamara and the new 'Cuse staff had offered a scholarship to Moesch, and now he's pledged to SU.
Syracuse basketball continues to fill out its back-court for the 2026-27 season.
For the past two seasons, Moesch has played at the Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Mass., where he has caught the attention of national analysts and scouts alike. Before that, though, Moesch was a star at Chittenango High School in Chittenango, N.Y., which is about 20 miles from Syracuse.
Moesch is a talented, yet underrated, prospect in the high school senior cycle. He's a three-star player according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking.

Both 247Sports and ESPN place Moesch as four stars, and he's No. 141 overall, No. 15 at point guard and No. 4 in Massachusetts within his class, per 247Sports.
Here is the Orange's projected 2026-27 roster at this juncture, amid the transfer portal remaining open until April 21:
•Ryan Moesch, 2026 four-star point guard
•Mark Morano Mahmutovic, a 2026 four-star wing from Slovenia
•Freshman guard Kiyan Anthony
•Freshman forward Sadiq White Jr.
•Freshman wing Calvin Russell III
•Sophomore guard Noah Lobdell
•Sophomore guard Aiden Tobiason, a four-star transfer from Temple
•Junior guard Garwey Dual, a four-star transfer from McNeese State
•Sophomore guard Gavin Doty, a four-star transfer from Siena
•Junior power forward/center Tasman Goodrick, a transfer from Siena
SU can carry up to 15 scholarship players on its 2026-27 roster. Syracuse basketball is fairly well set at the guard position group, while the team needs more power forwards and centers.
