Boeheim's Army battles Kentucky in $2M TBT on Sunday; how to watch, latest injury report

Boeheim's Army will be without former Syracuse basketball standouts Eric Devendorf, a guard, and Chris McCullough, a power forward/center, when the 'Cuse alumni team faces Kentucky alumni squad La Familia on Sunday afternoon in Lexington, Ky.

Boeheim's Army will play at La Familia beginning at 2:00 pm EST from the Historic Memorial Coliseum, with television coverage on Fox. Sunday afternoon's encounter is the quarterfinals of the $2 million, winner-take-all The Basketball Tournament ("TBT"), the annual summer event that Boeheim's Army won in 2021.

News had previously come out that the 6-foot-3 Devendorf would miss the remainder of the 2026 TBT, due to a knee injury that he suffered in Boeheim's Army's most recent game, an 81-76 home triumph over Hall In during the event's opening round.

The 6-foot-10 McCullough has yet to play in the 2026 TBT. On the flip side, Boeheim's Army wing Wes Johnson is active for Sunday's game. Power forward Jacorey Williams (Arkansas and Middle Tennessee State) is listed as questionable.

Boeheim's Army could use more size in the interior against La Familia.

McCullough, as previously mentioned, hasn't seen the court in this summer's TBT. Neither has the 6-foot-7 Johnson nor the 6-foot-9 Williams. It would be key for Boeheim's Army if Johnson can get some minutes today, as the team's line-up is a little thin. For La Familia, center Marcus Lee, who played in college at Kentucky and California, is listed as out.

Reports had indicated that Boeheim's Army general manager and assistant coach Shaun Belbey was eyeing possibly adding another player to the roster via a reserve list that is new to the summer tournament in 2026. As of Sunday morning, Inside the Loud House hadn't seen any additions to the Syracuse alumni squad's roster for the road tilt against the Kentucky alumni team.

Devendorf is expected to continue traveling with Boeheim's Army and help out in a coaching capacity for the remainder of the 2026 TBT. Sunday afternoon's contest is an exciting rematch, so to speak, of the 1996 national championship affair, when a loaded Kentucky group, a No. 1 seed, knocked off a 'Cuse team that journeyed to the title game as a No. 4 seed.

Despite all the line-up news, and Boeheim's Army missing a few guys on Sunday, wing Elijah Hughes said: "I like us against anybody."
