Abraham Sesay, a talented four-star edge in the 2027 class from Pennsylvania, may visit Syracuse football this summer, according to a post on X from Tyler Calvaruso of 247Sports.

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Sesay, who says on his X page that he also plays tight end, is a standout rising junior at Downingtown East High School in Exton, Pa. Per social media posts, in the 2024 campaign as a sophomore, Sesay was an All-League performer for Downingtown.

When I wrote this article, in 2027 rankings from On3, Sesay checked in as four stars, No. 170 nationally, No. 22 at edge and No. 6 in Pennsylvania.

As college programs hold various camps over the summer, two potential destinations for Sesay are the Orange and Big Ten Conference member Penn State, according to Calvaruso.

Syracuse football is prioritizing 2027 four-star edge Abraham Sesay.

The primary recruiter at the 'Cuse for Sesay is Syracuse football defensive ends coach Nick Williams, who offered a scholarship to Sesay on January 16, 2025, per a post on X.

According to recruiting services, besides the Orange, Sesay's full offer sheet includes schools such as Boston College, Kentucky, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Duke and Temple.

Per his X account, Sesay was in attendance in April at the JMA Wireless Dome when the 'Cuse program held its annual spring game.

To date, the Orange has secured at least three verbal pledges in its 2027 class, and the 'Cuse coaching staff is off to a fast start in this cycle. Those who have verbally committed to Syracuse football in its 2027 class are three-star defensive back Travis Miles out of Hillside High School in Hillside, N.J., three-star athlete Tank White of Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Fla., and three-star quarterback Justin Dixon of the Concordia Preparatory School in Towson, Md.

When I wrote this article on Tuesday evening, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite placed the Orange's 2027 cycle at No. 8 around the country. Head coach Fran Brown and his top-flight staff are also doing well in 2026, as the 'Cuse has at least 16 verbal pledges in a class residing at No. 13 nationwide, per the 247Sports Composite.
