Marley Spiers, a top-70 national prospect in the 2027 class from Tennessee, has disclosed a top four that includes Syracuse women's basketball, according to social media posts. The 6-foot-4 Spiers, a four-star forward/center, has a top four of the Orange, Penn State, Southern California and Minnesota.

Per her Instagram page, Spiers recently took an official visit to Penn State. She is expected to officially visit the 'Cuse in mid-November, although a date hasn't been set, a source told Inside the Loud House on Friday.

Spiers is a senior at the Clarksville Christian School in Clarksville, Tenn., not far from Nashville. According to MaxPreps, as a junior in the 2025-26 campaign, she averaged 12.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. Spiers made 61 percent from the field and 66 percent from the free-throw line.

In the latest AAU season, she played for the 17U team of the Newport, Ky.-based Lady Phenom United in the Adidas-sponsored 3SSB league. This past July, Lady Phenom United made the Elite Eight of the 3SSB circuit's season-ending playoffs. For Lady Phenom United, Spiers averaged 8.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Within the 2027 class, ESPN places Spiers at No. 62 overall. The Rivals Industry composite rating system has her at No. 69 nationally, No. 7 at center and No. 3 in Tennessee.

What's the latest with Syracuse women's basketball's 2027 class?

To date, the Orange has one verbal pledge in its high school senior cycle. Late last month, 2027 point guard Josephine Pinnock from New York City verbally committed to the Orange over Seton Hall, Hofstra and Stony Brook.

The 5-foot-10 Pinnock, as a junior at Christ the King High School in Middle Village, N.Y., averaged 19.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. She was named the New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association ("CHSAA") AAA player of the year.

Last month, Pinnock took an official visit to the 'Cuse. She also unofficially visited Syracuse in July, around the time that Pinnock picked up a scholarship offer from the Orange staff. Read more here about what top New York-based analyst and scout Zach Smart had to say about Pinnock.

Syracuse women's basketball is also recruiting Kaleena Smith, the nation's No. 1 senior and a five-star point guard in the 2027 class. The 5-foot-6 Smith took an official visit to the Orange this past February.

In late September, SU head coach Felisha Legette-Jack conducted an in-home visit with Smith, as first reported by Inside the Loud House. Smith is an All-American at the powerhouse Ontario Christian School in Ontario, Calif., near Los Angeles.
