It's a busy time, as Syracuse football coaches continue to lock in spring visits and official visits with high school verbal commits and recruiting targets.

Sa’Nir Brooks, a 2027 three-star running back/athlete at the powerhouse Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, said via his X page that he will take an official visit to the Orange from June 12 to June 14. In late January of this year, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Brooks verbally pledged to Syracuse football.

He was also scheduled to visit the 'Cuse for one of its junior days in late January. Brooks suits up for one of the best high school teams, Saint Frances, a program that Syracuse football coaches are recruiting hard these days.

Brooks is in the top 450 nationally of the 2027 class, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite. This past term, Saint Frances sported a 9-1 mark and was No. 2 around the country, per MaxPreps.

Three-star DL to visit Syracuse football this spring.

Tyler Alexander, a 2027 three-star defensive tackle from Florida who holds a scholarship offer from the Orange staff, has scheduled a bunch of spring visits to various programs, including SU, he noted via his X page.

He will make a trip to Syracuse football on March 28. Other schools that the 6-foot-4, 310-pound Alexander will visit this spring include Florida, Texas, Georgia, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

His second Division I scholarship offer came from the Orange, back on February 6, 2025. The Gators have heavy analyst buzz for Alexander on Rivals, whose full offer sheet includes Florida, Texas, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Georgia, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Miami, Louisville, Florida State, Pittsburgh, Mississippi State, UCF, USF, Maryland, Missouri, Kentucky, West Virginia, Rutgers, Memphis, Auburn and Virginia Tech, among others.

When I penned this column, within the 2027 class, the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking placed Alexander at No. 752 overall, No. 79 at defensive lineman and No. 86 in Florida.

He is a junior at Palm Beach Central High School in Wellington, Fla., which is not far from Miami. In the 2025 season, Palm Beach Central went 6-5 overall. You can check out some of Alexander's statistics in the 2025 campaign on the MaxPreps Web site.
