David Conner, a three-star junior-college offensive lineman who in the past has called the 'Cuse a dream school, will visit Syracuse football "next week," he wrote on his X page this past Thursday.
Assumably, he is planning to visit the Orange for its 2025 regular-season finale against Boston College at the JMA Wireless Dome on November 29. This weekend, according to his X account, Conner is on a visit to Southeastern Conference member South Carolina.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound Conner attends Andrew College in Cuthbert, Ga. He is from Atlanta, according to his bio on the Andrew College Web site.
Syracuse football will have numerous visitors on campus for the Boston College game.
Conner was a three-star prep recruit in the 2022 class. He competed for Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
According to 247Sports, in December of 2021, he signed with SEC school Florida. In April of 2023, he transferred to Colorado out of the Big 12 Conference. In May of 2024, he transferred to Texas State and then entered the transfer portal last December before joining Andrew College.
Per a report from On3, Conner didn't see any field time at Florida, Colorado and Texas State "due to injuries and a redshirt."

Since late August of this year, Conner has picked up scholarship offers from teams such as South Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee State, Kennesaw State, North Carolina A&T, South Carolina State and Louisiana-Monroe.
The former Orange coaching staff offered a scholarship to Conner in June of 2021. The current Syracuse football staff offered him on November 13, per Conner's X page.

In ESPN's JUCO rankings, Conner is rated the No. 9 offensive guard. In 247Sports' JUCO rankings for the 2026 class, he is No. 68 overall, No. 4 at interior offensive lineman and No. 5 in Florida.
Per JUCO rankings from the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Conner is No. 73 nationally, No. 3 at interior offensive lineman and No. 4 in Florida.
Two other three-star JUCO players are planning to visit Syracuse football on November 29. They are edge rusher Darius Wiley and defensive lineman Jeffrey Manns II, who both compete for the powerhouse Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kan.
