Syracuse football has scored an official visit from a talented defensive lineman at the junior-college level.
Three-star defensive lineman Jeffrey Manns II, a standout at the powerhouse Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kan., plans to take an official visit to the Orange when the 'Cuse will host fellow Atlantic Coast Conference squad Boston College on November 29.
Allen Trieu, an analyst with 247Sports, first reported this news. This weekend, the 6-foot-3, 300-pound Manns, a defensive tackle, plans to take an official visit to Houston out of the Big 12 Conference, Trieu reports.

Based upon reviewing his bios on 247Sports and Rivals, it's not clear whether the 'Cuse has officially offered a scholarship to Manns, although clearly the Orange staff has an interest in him.

When I wrote this article on Monday evening, within the industry-generated 247Sports Composite's JUCO rankings for the 2026 class, Manns checks in at No. 83 overall, No. 17 at defensive lineman and No. 18 in Kansas.
The early signing period for the 2026 cycle arrives on December 3. So far, the Orange has 30 verbal pledges and is ranked No. 23 nationally by the 247Sports Composite. This 'Cuse class includes one five-star commit and five pledges who are ranked four stars by at least one recruiting service.
