Syracuse football takes on Clemson on the road in an ACC battle. Here are three players to watch against the Tigers.
No. 14 Syracuse football (6-0 overall, 3-0 in the ACC) is on the road against another ranked opponent, as they take on the #5 Clemson Tigers (7-0 overall, 5-0 in the ACC) in South Carolina on Saturday.
The Orange are looking to keep the undefeated season alive, however, they will have to do it against a ranked opponent on the road. These three players will be keys for the Orange to take down the Tigers.
Quarterback Garrett Shrader
Shrader is coming off another impressive performance against the N.C. State Wolfpack last Saturday, where he threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns as well as two interceptions. Shrader will need to come out in this game against Clemson, thinking with his field vision and his feet. He will need to come out throwing the deep ball and finding his favorite targets down the field.
Wide Receiver Oronde Gadsden ll
Gadsden is the key receiver for Shrader to find down the field, as he showed against the Wolfpack, when he collected 141 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Gadsden will need to find holes in the Tigers’ defense, where he can break free and make big plays in the open field. He is going to be Shrader’s main target in this game against Clemson.
Running Back Sean Tucker
Tucker will need to be a huge factor for the Orange in this game against Clemson. Tucker ran for 98 yards and one touchdown against N.C. State, which was the cap on the game against the Wolfpack. Sean Tucker will need to find the holes in the Clemson Tigers’ defense and break free for big chunks of yards that result in big plays.
The #14 Syracuse Orange take on the #5 Clemson Tigers on the road on Saturday at 12 pm on ABC.
