Nyair Graham, a Syracuse football 2022 linebacker target, has a ton of high-quality suitors.

Syracuse football 2022 target Nyair Graham, a top-40 linebacker nationally in this cycle, has revealed his announcement date, and it’s tough to get a read on a possible favorite or favorites for him at this juncture.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Graham, a three-star prospect and junior at Camden High School in Camden, N.J., will unveil his collegiate destination on June 7, 2021, he said via Twitter.

If you have VIP access to this 247Sports article, I highly recommend having a look. Graham sheds some light on why he chose June 7 as his announcement date, and it’s poignant.

On Rivals.com and the 247Sports Web site, I’m not seeing any predictions from recruiting analysts and other experts at this juncture as far as Graham’s future landing spot is concerned.

However, the Orange appears in the mix. Graham has said in previous interviews that he has strong interest in the ‘Cuse and consistently communicates with the team’s coaching staff.

Plus, one of Graham’s teammates at Camden High School is Duce Chestnut, a top-30 cornerback overall in the 2021 class who committed to Syracuse football back in early August.

Syracuse football faces stiff competition for 2022 three-star linebacker Nyair Graham.

Between now and when he reveals his college choice, Graham could certainly trim down his list of contenders. He’s got nearly 20 scholarship offers so far.

Among the high-majors to offer Graham, besides the Orange, are Michigan, Penn State, Michigan State, Miami, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Virginia and Boston College.

Graham’s bio on Rivals.com lists him as an inside linebacker, and this recruiting service ranks him No. 13 nationally at the position, as well as No. 11 in the state of New Jersey within the 2022 cycle.

The 247Sports Composite, meanwhile, has Graham at No. 415 overall, No. 31 at outside linebacker and No. 13 in New Jersey. He’s also the No. 37 outside linebacker according to 247Sports itself, and the No. 13 prospect in New Jersey.

Syracuse football, which doesn’t have a commitment yet in its 2022 class, would seem to have a solid chance at winning the recruiting sweepstakes for Graham.
