Syracuse football is really struggling these days, and the Orange checks in at No. 15 in our Atlantic Coast Conference power ratings for this week.

Syracuse football continues to have tons of issues on offense, and that led to a 21-10 setback for the Orange at the hands of then-No. 25 Pittsburgh on the road this past Saturday, the second-consecutive defeat for the ‘Cuse away from the Hill to a ranked foe.

As Syracuse football (0-2) prepares for its home opener this Saturday afternoon versus Georgia Tech, the Orange fan base is extremely concerned about the state of the team at this juncture in the 2020 campaign.

The ‘Cuse placed No. 15 in our Atlantic Coast Conference power rankings a week ago, and with the ugly loss to the Panthers this past Saturday from Heinz Field, Syracuse football stays in last place this week, too. Here is our rundown of the ACC power ratings following conference clashes over the weekend.

1. Clemson
The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the AP and Coaches top-25 polls, absolutely demolished Citadel, 49-0, and Clemson looks like a serious contender to win the ACC crown and reach the College Football Playoff.

2. North Carolina
The Tar Heels, after smoking the Orange in the 2020 term opener, had their most-recent contest against Charlotte canceled amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

3. Notre Dame
After looking a bit shaky in its first affair, the Fighting Irish manhandled South Florida this past weekend, 52-0.

4. Miami
The Hurricanes picked up the premier victory among ACC crews this past weekend, as Miami went to Louisville and conquered the Cardinals, 47-34.

5. Pittsburgh
The Panthers, on their own turf, clamped down on an anemic ‘Cuse offense to go to 2-0.

6. Virginia Tech
The Hokies still have yet to play and are scheduled to face N.C. State this Saturday.

7. Louisville
As previously mentioned, the Cardinals fell at home to a really good Hurricanes group.

8. N.C. State
The Wolfpack moved to 1-0 in squeaking by Wake Forest, 45-42.

9. Boston College
The Eagles got in the win column to begin their 2020 stanza by knocking off Duke on the road, 26-6.

10. Virginia
The Cavaliers commence their fall campaign when they welcome the Blue Devils to town this Saturday.

11. Georgia Tech
After stunning Florida State, 16-13, in Tallahassee, Fla., in their season opener, the Yellow Jackets got beat pretty bad by Central Florida, 49-21.

12. Florida State
The Seminoles, off this past weekend, seek to secure their first victory of 2020 when they make a trip to in-state rival Miami this coming Saturday.

13. Wake Forest
The Demon Deacons are woeful on defense, but at least they kept things close in losing to N.C. State by a field goal.

14. Duke
The Blue Devils are 0-2 after falling to Boston College at home in a relatively lopsided meeting.

15. Syracuse
Whatever.
