There are several former Syracuse football alum keeping their football dreams alive in the XFL. Here is the full and complete report card on every player.

To be candid it wasn’t a great week for all the former Syracuse football alum in the XFL, but here is the full report.

Eric Dungey, quarterback, Dallas Renegades

Eric Dungey is back with the Dallas Renegades which is good news, but we have a double-decker of bad news. Not only did he not record a statistic in the game, but they also lost 27-20 to the Houston Roughnecks.

For those searching for moral cookies, Dallas was competitive with the only undefeated team remaining in the XFL, but couldn’t do enough to pull off the upset.

Jay Bromley, defensive tackle, DC Defenders

Jay Bromley continues to make plays happen in opposing backfields. He recorded four combined tackles and registered a quarterback hit. Sadly that wasn’t enough, the Defenders were shut out 25-0.

If that wasn’t bad enough they gave the Tampa Bay Vipers their first win of the season in embarrassing fashion. The Defenders have now lost two straight games falling into a tie for second place in the XFL East.

Shamarko Thomas, safety, DC Defenders

Shamarko Thomas recorded three combined tackles and that’s it, the Defenders couldn’t get anything going offensively (only gaining 107 yards). Although the Defenders gave up over 477 yards of offense including a whopping 266 on the ground to the Vipers.

Jordan Martin, free safety, Seattle Dragons

Did any Syracuse alum experience a win this week? Not yet.

Starting safety for the Dragons, Jordan Martin secured four combined tackles. Now Seattle has plummetted into last place in the XFL West with their second straight loss.

Andrew Tiller, offensive line, Tampa Bay Vipers

Last but certainly not least Andrew Tiller was the only former Syracuse alum to secure a dub this week in the XFL. As we’ve reported Tiller is still injured and hasn’t been able to help out on the field, but his pep speeches have certainly helped off the field.

The Vipers are now on a one-game winning streak (yeah that’s a thing) and are only two games out of first place in the XFL East.
