Joe Girard III is the new starting point guard for the Orange and it only took less than two games to make it happen. On Saturday vs Seattle, it’ll be his starting debut.

The offense came to life with JG3 running the operation and we’ll see how different it looks with him right from the get-go.

The big storyline to watch out for is how does Jalen Carey react? He was supposed to be the guy for Syracuse, but he struggled with turnovers and inconsistent play.

Jim Boeheim said he’ll have a chance to earn back his job, that all starts on Saturday. In a game that Syracuse is such a heavy favorite in they should have plenty of time to share the rotation with a deeper part of the roster.

Syracuse will need their offense running at full power vs a Seattle Redhawks team that has an ability to put up points. The good thing is the Orange defense has done a really good job in the first two games of the season.

It should be a fun game in the dome on Saturday. Seattle is the least talented team the Orange has faced thus far in 2019-20, but the Orange can’t overlook them. Give me Syracuse 77-50.
