The Syracuse football Pro Day is Monday, March 18th. Here are all the players who will be participating in all of the events in front of NFL teams.

This is the last opportunity for Syracuse football players to strut their stuff in a team capacity like this in front of NFL teams, scouts, and coaches. After this, it’ll be up to players to schedule their own individual NFL workouts ahead of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville.

With that being said Syracuse Athletics revealed the tentative list of 2019 Pro Day participants that includes a wide array of freshly juiced oranges and a player from Syracuse lore:

Ben Brickman (WR)

  • Syracuse (2017-18)
  • Hudson Valley Community College(2014-16)
    • Didn’t really make any statistical impact with Syracuse during his two years on the hill. But after high school, spent four years as a machine gunner in the United States Marine Corps and completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, per Cuse.com.

Cody Conway (OL)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • Cody spent his entire career with the Orange totaling nearly 3,000 snaps in 40 games protecting the blind side of Syracuse quarterbacks. Several Syracuse offensive linemen have gone on to the NFL from Jamar McGloster to Justin Pugh to Andrew Tiller.

Jamal Custis (WR)

  • Syracuse (2014-18)
    • Jamal Custis was the rare five year player at Syracuse AND NO he didn’t come to the Orange to be a doctor. An emotional roller coaster over the years but it all paid off in 2018 with a career year: 51 receptions, 906 yards, and six touchdowns.

Eric Dungey (QB)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • What more can you say about Eric Dungey? He’s one of the most prolific quarterbacks in program history holding numerous records at Syracuse. Can he make it in the NFL? Taysom Hill and Lamar Jackson provide hope.

Brisly Estime (WR/PR) *

  • Syracuse (2013-16)
    • The lone player who isn’t from last year’s squad is Brisly Estime. Ever since his record-breaking punt return coverage at Syracuse he has had a crazy ride from signing with the New York Jets and going to the CFL. Now he’s vying for another opportunity.

Ryan Guthrie (LB)

  • Syracuse (2017-18)
  • Ellsworth Community College (2015-16)
    • Ryan has played both on the defensive line and at linebacker at Syracuse. Ryan had the impossible task of replacing arguably some of the best linebackers in program history (Zaire Franklin and Parris Bennett) and he passed with flying colors. So much so that Syracuse head coach Dino Babers said we’ll be seeing Guthrie playing on Sundays, we’ll see if that’s the case at the Syracuse Pro Day.

Matt Keller (LS)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • Being a long snapper is an unheralded position. But Matt Keller stood out for a special reason earlier this season for the Orange. Matt Keller wore No. 47 for the Orange and last season Syracuse retired the jersey of legendary running back Joe Morris becoming the fifth member (now six members with Tim Green getting his jersey retired later this season).

Koda Martin (OL)

  • Syracuse (2018)
  • Texas A&M (2014-17)
    • While his Syracuse career was short (only one year) it was marvelous. How often does a starting SEC level tackle fall into your lap? I guess when your father and father-in-law work for the team, but I digress. He was exceptional and a really well-spoken guy in interviews.

Ravian Pierce (TE)

  • Syracuse (2017-18)
  • Southwest Mississippi Community College (2015-16)
    • Ravian Pierce is one of the most talented prospects that has walked through Syracuse in a long time. While that didn’t immediately translate to production in the Syracuse offense: he was a red-zone threat weapon, a safety blanket, and a mismatch nightmare.

Chris Slayton (DL)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • Chris Slayton is one of the most underrated players (nationally) in recent memory. While people inside the building know how good he is, I think sometimes the fans lose track. According to our latest NFL Draft Analytics, Slayton and Jamal Custis are the only Syracuse players being projected to be taken in the 2019 NFL Draft (at this point).

Dontae Strickland (RB)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • Dontae Stickland was always considered a grinder. Someone who could pound between the tackles and give it his all for the Orange. In 47 games over four seasons, rushed for 1,717 yards on 432 carries with 15 touchdowns, per Cuse.com.

Kielan Whitner (LB)

  • Syracuse (2015-18)
    • Kielan Whitner came in as a member of the secondary and transitioned to linebacker at Syracuse. He also deserves credit for the job the linebackers did this past season with Ryan Guthrie replacing some Orange legends.
