1. Oshae Brissett Coming Out Party!

We’ve literally been waiting for this all season. Oshae Brissett looked like the player he was during his freshman season. Attacking the basket with reckless aggression and shooting well from the charity stripe.

Oshae led the team in scoring (18), was efficient (66 percent from field), and CLUTCH with his free throws (6-of-8). After his first campaign with the Orange, there was a strong sense he could skip out and head to the 2018 NBA Draft, but he decided to stay.

NBA analysts were clamoring for him and some projected him as a potential lottery pick in 2019, yet that player has been invisible this season. When he wasn’t invisible, he’s been tough to watch (and we wished he was invisible). Oshae has struggled to get to the rim and finish all season and he’s been wildly inaccurate with his long range attempts and free throw attempts.

Hopefully this is the player that Syracuse will be getting heading into the second half of conference play because they need him. With so many weapons on this team, it’s natural to think of the limitless possibilities if everyone could turn the switch on at the same time.
