I was the only one who had the gonads to pick the Syracuse football outfit over Clemson last week. I’m feeling bold and confident. I can only imagine how the Orange feel. We talked about this before the game kicked off, it doesn’t get easier for the Cuse down the stretch.
But and there’s a big but here, SU isn’t playing the U of old. They don’t have to suit up against: Michael Irvin, Ray Lewis, or any of the other tremendous Alum. This Miami team may be ranked in the top-10 and undefeated, but they aren’t half the team Clemson was and SU beat the Tigers. So they should be coming into this game confident that they can take out any team in the country when they play four full quarters of football. SU wins this game 37-27.

The Syracuse football outfit faces its second-straight top-10 opponent when it travels to Miami this Saturday afternoon. The Hurricanes (5-0) are ranked No. 8 in the latest AP Poll, while the Orange (4-3) is coming off a shocking upset of then-No. 2 Clemson last weekend inside the Carrier Dome.
I truly believe that the ‘Cuse has a legit shot to hang with Miami. However, since I predicted that SU would fall to the Tigers, and our boys ended up winning, I’ll hope for the same outcome yet again. The Hurricanes triumph over Syracuse, 31-28.

it? What a win last Friday night over a perennial program and defending National Champs.
Miami at home will prove to be a huge test for Syracuse. Not only will they be playing a more talented and athletic team, but let’s see how they can react after the emotions of last Friday. The Orange will need to get out to a fast start on Saturday, much like they did against Clemson.
Syracuse’s defense needs to keep Miami QB Malik Rosier in the pocket as he is dangerous in the open field. Miami’s best wide receiver is Braxton Berrios, a speedy slot receiver with FIVE TD’s in five games. Last week, Clemson slot receiver Hunter Renfrow had some success against Syracuse catching five passes for 64 yards.
Berrios will need to be blanketed and if the Syracuse offense can get out to a fast start they will have another chance of upsetting a top-10 team. Ultimately Miami and the emotions of last week’s win will be too much as the Orange fall in a close one 28-24.

Well for this game prediction I have to go back to my youth and the story of Santa Claus is coming to town. I quote the Winter Warlock here and say ‘Please may we have a little magic?’
Can the OITNF repeat their amazing performance and beat two teams in the top ten in 8 days? My answer is YES!!!!! Eric Dungey takes his Heisman campaign on the road to Miami. And the Cuse win this one 35-28!

Syracuse played a heck of a game last week versus Clemson. I think that the Orange have a similar performance on the road this week at Miami. Miami is a really stout team, but I wouldn’t say that they are as good as the team’s in the past.
I do think that Miami is one of the better teams in the nation when it gets rolling. Miami is currently on a roll to start this season (5-0), and they look to continue that versus Syracuse.
However, Miami doesn’t know that they’re facing SU which will be like running into a brick wall all of a sudden. Syracuse who is coming off a major upset and flying high believe they have enough to pull this one out. Clemson showed them they can play with anyone. I don’t think that the Orange defense is going to be particularly good in this one, but I do think it will be enough to put Syracuse Football over the edge and into the win column once again. My prediction: Syracuse wins in a close game 28-24.
