Paul A. Esden Jr. (@BoyGreen25):

Bill you are probably one of the toughest guys we’ve ever interviewed. Before we get into the game, we talked off air and you’re battling kidney stones and fitting in this interview between medical appointments how are you doing health wise?

Bill Osborn (@Pitt_FB):

I’m upright, so that’s a good thing. It’s been an interesting couple of weeks. I take pride in the fact that I’ve never missed a game since my son was born 15+ years ago. But I’ve been forced to miss the past two weeks of Pitt football due to these medical issues. It’s excruciating pain I won’t lie, I’ve heard women say that they’d rather give birth then have to deal with kidney stones. It’s a little worse than a pain in the ass.

I know I won’t miss a third game in a row. Especially when we’re playing the Orange this Saturday. I’ve battled through surgeries, broken body parts in my career as a player in college and the league and simply nothing compares to what these kidney stones have been. I think I’m through the worst of it so for that I’m thankful.
