To learn a bit more about the Syracuse football team’s next opponent we decided to go Behind Enemy Lines with the Pitt Panthers.

The Syracuse football team has shot themselves in the foot too many times this season and now sit at under .500 at a critical portion of their season. The Orange have no one to blame but themselves for their struggles.

Which now puts SU in familiar territory, do or die. That’s the storyline heading into this game against Pitt. If the Orange lose and fall to 2-4, it’s time to stick a fork in this team as it pertains to a bowl berth. For what it’s worth, ESPN FPI Analytics suggest that Cuse is a 65% favorite and a three and a half point favorite in this game.

So to help breakdown the next opponent for the Orange we brought on Pitt Color Analyst Bill Osborn on The Score 1260. Osborn isn’t only an employee of the University of Pittsburgh, but he’s also a former Alum.

He was a three sport athlete  and his name should ring a lot of bells for Orange nation. Osborn played for the Panthers from 1985 through 1988 and was prominently featured in the SU vs Pitt rivalry. So he had a lot to say about how this game is going to play out.
