Syracuse basketball may have had an underwhelming regular season, but there were certainly some standout individual contributors who stepped up big time.

19-13 certainly wasn’t the dream for Syracuse basketball entering the season. Even though the team was unranked, there was so much potential. That potential burst through with a 6-0 start and a Battle 4 Atlantis title.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as planned the rest of the season. After that 6-0 start, the team finished 13-13 down the stretch, including losing five of their last six regular season games and their first game in the ACC tournament.

A team that finally looked to be turning the corner collapsed, and we’re now in the predicament of wondering if they’ll even make the NCAA tournament. A lot can happen between now and Sunday, but let’s not dwell on the future. Let’s remember the past and some of the standout performers on this team.

Regardless of record, Syracuse basketball certainly had some tremendous players. With a stronger bench, who knows how different this team could have been. Even with a 6.5 man rotation, they still pulled off some impressive victories as a team and some excellent individual performances as players.

Here are my grades for the seven main players that actually saw significant minutes, from highest to lowest.
