Syracuse basketball four-star and five-star recruiting targets played well at a showcase in New York City over the weekend, with Orange assistant coach Brenden Straughn in attendance.
The 2025 Jordan Holiday Classic, held at Achievement First High School in Brooklyn, N.Y., this past Saturday and Sunday, featured 'Cuse targets across the 2026, 2027 and 2028 classes. In an Instagram story post, Straughn noted that he was on hand to watch 2026 five-star shooting guard Jordan Smith Jr., the Orange's top target in the high school senior cycle.
Adam Finkelstein, the director of basketball scouting at CBS Sports, named the 6-foot-3 Smith as one of his top performers at the Jordan Holiday Classic. Let's break down how 'Cuse recruits fared in the Big Apple.
