For the upcoming college football season, Division I programs can have commercial logos on their jerseys and helmets, and we're already starting to see some teams roll out these kinds of sponsorships, including Atlantic Coast Conference schools California and Notre Dame (although the Fighting Irish is an independent in football).
Naturally, Syracuse Orange fans, myself included, are curious if and when the football program, the men's and women's basketball teams, and others will have corporate logos on their jerseys and uniforms, and which businesses or other entities might be partnering up with SU for these sponsorships.
Syracuse Athletics has yet to announce anything on this topic. A SU Athletics spokesperson, via text, provided this statement to Inside the Loud House on Thursday: "By policy, we refrain from any public comment on prospective sponsorship partnerships. We only offer comment regarding any partnership once an agreement has been completed."
With that out of the way, I polled fellow fans on the Inside the Loud House social media channels on Thursday, asking for their feedback on companies and organizations that they would like to see strike sponsorship agreements with Syracuse teams for jersey, helmet and uniform patches.

A fan wrote: "You could change the corporate sponsor to Orange Crush soda. And change the team name to Orange Crush. Syracuse Orange Crush. Besides that, any local business advertised on a team uniform would look awful." I like the Orange Crush idea!
Another fan wrote: "Both JetBlue and MetLife have Cuse alumni in leadership positions, so some natural ties there." Something to keep in mind!
