The Syracuse women's basketball staff has offered a scholarship to 2028 four-star guard Marlee-Michelle Coleman, according to her Instagram page. The 6-foot-2 Coleman checks in as the No. 22 overall prospect in the high school junior class, according to ESPN.

Coleman attends the Example Academy, an all-girls prep school in Frankfort, Ill., near Chicago. Last season, per MaxPreps, the Example Academy went 21-5 overall and was the No. 4 team in Illinois.

In grassroots hoops, Coleman competes for the Illinois-based Example Sports on the girls' Under Armour Association ("UAA") circuit. Per that league's Web site, in the latest UAA season, Coleman averaged 10.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. She connected on 40 percent from the field, 24 percent from beyond the arc and 58 percent from the free-throw line.

Earlier this month, on October 6, the Orange coaching staff was on hand to watch Coleman during an open gym at the Example Academy, according to the school's X account. The fall recruiting period began last month, and 'Cuse coaches have hit the road on various occasions to check in on 2027 and 2028 prospects at open gyms.

Coleman has an extensive offer list, according to her Instagram page. Those college programs that have offered her include Toledo, Virginia, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Missouri, West Virginia, Miami, Ohio State, UCF, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, George Mason, Texas A&M, Purdue, Houston, Virginia Tech, Arizona State, Arizona, DePaul, Florida State, Delaware, South Florida, Wisconsin, California, Loyola, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Stony Brook, Alabama, Clemson, Indiana, Mississippi State, Fordham, Penn State, Oakland, Fairfield, Illinois State, SMU and Illinois-Chicago.

It's still somewhat early for 2028 prospects in their recruitments, but Inside the Loud House will continue to track Coleman as it relates to the Orange. Other 2028 players that Syracuse women's basketball fans may want to monitor include five-star guard Amel Cook, four-star center Hillary Simo and four-star forward Sydney Ferguson.

Cook, the No. 7 overall prospect in the junior cycle per ESPN, attends the Windward School in Los Angeles. She took an unofficial visit to the 'Cuse this past February. Simo, ranked No. 60 overall by ESPN, is out of The Newman School in Boston. She has expressed an interest in visiting SU at some point.

Ferguson, the No. 51 national prospect in 2028, according to ESPN, attends St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. I don't believe she's been offered by Syracuse women's basketball yet. However, on X, Ferguson is followed by Orange head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and SU assistant coach Caleb Samson.
