Four-star linebacker/edge rusher Judah Blair, a sophomore All-American who is off to a fast start as a junior for his high school in the Cincinnati area, has dropped a top 10 that includes Syracuse football, per Rivals.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Blair, a top-85 national prospect in the 2028 class, has a top 10 of the Orange, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, N.C. State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech.

That's some hefty competition for SU, but it's always encouraging to see the 'Cuse, led by head coach Fran Brown, make list cuts for top-flight high school players. Nothing has been scheduled as of yet, but the Syracuse football staff is working to get Blair on the Hill for a visit at some point, a source tells Inside the Loud House.
Blair is a standout at Lakota West High School in West Chester Township, Ohio, a program that is 5-1 so far in the 2026 season, according to MaxPreps. To date in his junior campaign, Blair has tallied 30 solo tackles, 49 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, one sack, two pass breakups and one fumble recovery, per MaxPreps.

Syracuse football remains in contention for elite 2028 4-star LB/edge Judah Blair.
In the 2025 season, when Lakota West went 7-5 overall, Blair was named a sophomore All-American by Rivals. According to his X page, as a sophomore, Blair had 25 solo tackles, 57 total tackles, 15.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks and one interception. On offense, he collected 75 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.

Within the 2028 class, the industry-generated 247Sports Composite places Blair at No. 82 overall, No. 5 at linebacker and No. 3 in Ohio. Over at the industry-generated Rivals Industry Ranking, he is No. 82 nationally, No. 6 at linebacker and No. 3 in Ohio.
The Syracuse football staff has one verbal pledge in its 2028 cycle from four-star offensive tackle Omari Lawson out of the Zarephath Academy in Jacksonville, Fla. The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Lawson, a top-125 national prospect in the junior class, was in attendance earlier this month at the JMA Wireless Dome for SU's game against California.
