On Tuesday, the NCAA Division I Administrative Committee approved the dates for college football's one-time-only transfer portal. It will run for 15 days, from January 2 to January 16. Previously, there were two transfer portal windows, one in the winter and a second one in the spring.
According to a post on X from the NCAA, the committee’s action on the one-time-only transfer portal will not be officially final until its meeting concludes on Wednesday.
Last month, the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision Oversight Committee had recommended dates for this transfer portal window that would last from January 2 to January 11.
