Syracuse football sophomore running back Jaden Hart, on Monday, said via social media that he plans to enter the transfer portal when it opens early next month. Orange Nation wishes Jaden so much success moving forward!

With the news regarding Hart, at least 17 players from the 'Cuse 2025 roster have announced plans to enter the transfer portal, which will be open from January 2 until January 16. The Orange went 3-9 in the recently completed campaign.

At the high school level, the team's 2026 class is the highest-ranked prep cycle at the 'Cuse in the modern recruiting services era. Numerous key players from 2025 are expected to return next season, while Syracuse football coaches will also hit the transfer portal hard when it opens in early January.

Positions of need for the Orange in the portal will likely include quarterback, tight end, the offensive and defensive lines and safety, among others. West Florida transfer quarterback Marcus Stokes, a three-star redshirt sophomore, is planning to visit the 'Cuse during the weekend of January 3.
