Syracuse football coaches continue to bolster their 2026 transfer class, which is up to at least nine commits at this juncture.
I first reported on Saturday morning that the Orange had scored a commitment from transfer defensive lineman Dillan Fontus, a junior at Maryland, according to a source of mine. The 'Cuse also landed transfer defensive lineman Keyshawn Johnson, a junior at UT Martin, a source confirmed to me. This was first reported by Syracuse.com.

Also, per a source, transfer wide receiver Elijah Moore, a redshirt freshman at Florida State, has committed to the Orange. CBS Sports first reported this news. On Saturday, 247Sports rated the 'Cuse 2026 transfer cycle at No. 57 overall, although the team is expected to gain more signees.
The transfer portal opened on January 2, and it runs through January 16.

Dillan Fontus
The 6-foot-6, 292-pound Fontus is from New York City. In the 2025 season for the Terrapins, he had 14 solo tackles, 28 total tackles, two sacks and one pass breakup. In transfer rankings from the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking, Fontus is three stars, No. 679 overall and No. 64 at defensive lineman.
Keyshawn Johnson
The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Johnson, from Belle Glade, Fla., was an FCS first-team All-American in 2025, per numerous media outlets. He tallied 30 solo tackles, 53 total tackles, 20.0 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and 10 quarterback hurries. In transfer rankings from 247Sports, Johnson is three stars, No. 467 overall and No. 56 at edge.
Elijah Moore
The 6-foot-4, 203-pound Moore hails from Oxon Hill, Md., in the talent-rich Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. In 2025, he caught three passes for 52 yards in limited appearances for the Seminoles. Moore is rated three stars, No. 376 nationally and No. 76 at wide receiver, according to transfer rankings from 247Sports.
