Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown may have found his next wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator.
Per a report on X from ESPN senior college football writer Adam Rittenberg, citing sources, the 'Cuse is set to hire Myles White as its new WR coach and passing game coordinator.
Most recently, White has served as a coaching assistant with the NFL's Green Bay Packers, a squad that went 11-6 overall in the most recent season and reached the playoffs, losing its first game in the post-season to the eventual Super Bowl champion, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Sources: Syracuse is set to hire Green Bay Packers assistant Myles White as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. He coached wideouts at Miami (Ohio) in 2022 and 2023, and also made stops at Stephen F. Austin and SMU. Spent time in NFL and CFL as a player.

White would replace Ross Douglas as the Orange's wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator. Not too long ago, Douglas left the Hill to take on the same roles with Big Ten Conference member Oregon, which made the 12-team College Football Playoff during the most recent campaign.
A huge congratulations and welcome from 'Cuse Nation to Myles, and I'll certainly keep on the lookout for an official announcement from SU Athletics in the future.
Syracuse football reportedly has its next wide receivers coach.
White will have some big shoes to fill, as Douglas in the 2024 stanza helped lead a prolific Orange offense that led the country in total passing yards, buoyed by record-setting senior quarterback Kyle McCord and a terrific group of tight ends and wide receivers.
In 2024, the first year with Brown at the helm of Syracuse football, the program sported a 10-3 record, won its bowl game and had a No. 20 national ranking in the final Associated Press top-25 poll.
Before joining Green Bay, per his bio on packers.com, White spent two seasons as the wide receivers coach at Miami University in Ohio, and he was also the passing game coordinator in 2023.
Rittenberg added in his social media post that White "also made stops at Stephen F. Austin and SMU. Spent time in NFL and CFL as a player."
There have been a few staff changes for Syracuse football so far this off-season. The 'Cuse hired Ricky Brumfield as the team's new special teams coordinator. Brumfield, most recently, spent two years at fellow Atlantic Coast Conference school Georgia Tech.
In mid-February, I noted these and other Orange coaching-related news in this article. In recent weeks, SU Athletics has also announced a couple of key hires amid the evolving landscape in college sports, given ongoing conference realignment, NIL deals, future revenue-sharing and other factors.
