Hey Loud House family, I'mmmm backkkkk!
That's right, your friend Orange Chuck is back home at Inside the Loud House. For those of you new here, I had to take a break for family reasons as well as technical reasons but after a year hiatus, I am back to share my mostly positive and uplifting takes on Syracuse Orange sports.
For those who have been following since before I left, I hope you are as happy to have me back as I am to be back. And to my brother from another mother, our editor Neil Adler, I am happy to run down the field with you again my brother man.
Now whether you remember me or not, this is the perfect way to either introduce or reintroduce myself by saying one thing...THE SYRACUSE FOOTBALL SEASON ISN'T OVER YET!
Syracuse football's 2024 season is far from over.
Syracuse football is 5-2, which I know despite some expectations preseason might be a let-down but not for me. This team is still one win away from bowl eligibility with winnable games left on the schedule. In fact, I will go so far as to say I still believe that with the current talent level on this team, there isn't a game left on the schedule that they can't win.
I see a team that is not giving up and playing hard. I see no players jumping ship yet and still buying into this program. I see Syracuse football head coach Fran Brown saying in his press conference that this season is not over and I believe him. I see a team that is dealing with injuries, yes, but nothing to make us believe that injuries could cost this team the season.
Kyle McCord. Marlowe Wax. LeQuint Allen. Oronde Gadsden II. Trebor Pena. Fadil Diggs. Jackson Meeks. Justin Barron. I mean this is just 8 players from a talented roster that I believe has the deepest roster in many years, and there is also a lot of potential just waiting to prove they will be the next big Orange star as well.
So don't count out anything just yet as there is a lot of football left to play. I still think 8 to 9 wins is very possible and would not even rule out 10 wins, either, if things click right. I still believe in this team and hope you do, too.
And with 5 games remaining (3 of which are at home in the Dome), Syracuse has Virginia Tech at noon this Saturday in the JMA Wireless Dome. So let's show up, tune in and root root root for the home team, and let's show this team that we are behind them. My brother Neil has all the information you need to find more details on this game here.
Go Orange!
