Four-star defensive back Jaydin Broadnax, a state champion in Florida as a junior during the recently completed 2024 season, has several college suitors standing out the most to him, including Syracuse football, a national analyst says.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Broadnax, a top-200 national prospect in the 2026 class who has visited the Hill, holds 30 scholarship offers, per 247Sports. The Orange staff, led by head coach Fran Brown, offered Broadnax on February 17, 2024, according to his X page.

Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney, in a recent article, wrote of Broadnax, "No visits are scheduled yet for the 2026 four-star safety but a handful of programs are standing out the most with the Boca Raton (Fla.) West Boca Raton star. ... Michigan and Florida could have the edge and those two might battle it out until the end but Louisville, Syracuse and Florida State are right there as well."

At this juncture, I'm not seeing any analyst predictions for Broadnax between the 247Sports Web site, Rivals.com and the On3 Web site. The 'Cuse coaching staff continues to recruit Florida hard, with multiple signees in the team's 2025 class hailing from the Sunshine State and at least one verbal commit in the Orange's 2026 cycle also coming from Florida.

Additionally, within the high school junior class, 'Cuse coaches are recruiting numerous four-star prospects from the Sunshine State hard, including Broadnax.

Syracuse football is a contender for top-flight 2026 4-star DB Jaydin Broadnax.

Broadnax had a tremendous, award-winning junior season for West Boca Raton Community High School in Boca Raton, Fla. The Bulls, per MaxPreps, went 15-0 overall in the 2024 campaign and captured the Florida High School Athletic Association ("FHSAA") Class 6A state title.

In 2024, according to his X account, Broadnax tallied 39 total tackles, 14 pass breakups and one interception, and he only allowed nine catches for 60 yards and zero touchdowns. That's impressive.

Currently, Broadnax's highest 2026 rankings come courtesy of ESPN, which has him at No. 189 overall, No. 20 at cornerback and No. 33 in Florida. When I wrote this article, both the industry-generated 247Sports Composite and the industry-generated On3 Industry Ranking placed Broadnax at No. 285 around the country in his class.

Besides Syracuse football, per recruiting Web sites, Broadnax's full offer sheet includes schools such as Auburn, Boston College, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCF, USF, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among others.
