Syracuse basketball's non-conference docket is (unofficially) complete. Here's a full look.

Syracuse basketball's 2026 non-conference schedule is set, although three contests have yet to be officially confirmed by SU Athletics, and the dates of these meetings aren't publicly known.

On Monday, Syracuse.com first reported that Central New York neighbor Cornell, out of the Ivy League, will head to the JMA Wireless Dome on Wednesday, Nov. 18. Syracuse Athletics also announced last Friday that the 'Cuse will host Northeast Conference member Mercyhurst, from Erie, Pa., on Saturday, Dec. 12.

In their long-time series together, the Orange is 98-31 against the Big Red and has captured 44 straight in the rivalry. The teams didn't play one another in the 2025-26 campaign, when Syracuse basketball went 15-17 overall. Last season, Cornell went 15-13 overall and 8-6 in Ivy League play.

Syracuse basketball and Mercyhurst met for the first time on the court in 2025-26, with the 'Cuse beating the Lakers at home, 76-62. Mercyhurst, last season, was 17-17 overall and 10-8 in league competition.

In 2026-27, with SU alum Gerry McNamara now leading the Orange program, the 'Cuse is expected to have 14 non-conference contests and 18 Atlantic Coast Conference encounters.

•Syracuse basketball against Indiana at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Monday, Nov. 9
•Syracuse basketball against Cornell at the Dome on Wednesday, Nov. 18
•Syracuse basketball against Lafayette at the Dome on Saturday, Nov. 21
•Syracuse basketball at Oklahoma on Tuesday, Dec. 1 (annual ACC/SEC Challenge)
•Syracuse basketball against Colgate at the Dome on Tuesday, Dec. 8
•Syracuse basketball against Mercyhurst at the Dome on Saturday, Dec. 12

We're still waiting on the dates/times of SU's non-conference games against St. John's, Rutgers and Albany. The Orange will face five non-conference foes from power leagues in 2026-27, with four of those contests at neutral sites and one affair on the road against the Sooners in this season's ACC/SEC Challenge.
